Sameer Gupta
Founder and President
Sameer Gupta is a senior at Thomas A. Edison High School and resides in Alexandria, Virginia. He founded this organization because he is passionate about helping children of military personnel face the complex task of having to adjust to not only a new school; but, more importantly a new community as well. He has personally witnessed many of these students transferring during the academic year and it is a big issue. His goal is to provide these students the right care to include free tutoring, inclusiveness, and the recognition they deserve. Sameer believes that the key to solving this issue is demonstrating care and encouraging children of military personnel to attend community and school events the moment they arrive.
Mahmoud Baloul
Vice President of Operations
Mahmoud is a senior at Thomas A. Edison High School and resides in Alexandria, Virginia. Several of his closest friends have parents in the military so he understands the challenges associated with transitioning into new schools. Mahmoud believes that the Undercover Organization will be able to alleviate this issue. To ensure the organization will prosper, he will maintain the Undercover Organization website and oversee operations.
Saba Berhane
Vice President of Strategic Communications
Saba is a junior at Edison High School and resides in Alexandria, Virginia. Saba has participated in the JROTC program at her school and has witnessed students of military personnel transfer during the middle of the academic year. She believes it is a huge problem that is commonly overlooked and wants to help make a positive effort to help these students. Saba hopes to make a difference and help these students transition into their new schools and become a part of the community.
Erin Arnold
Vice President of Social Media
Erin is a senior at Thomas A. Edison High School and resides in Alexandria, Virginia. She was also raised as an Air Force brat. Her dad was in the service 26 years until he retired as a Colonel in 2015. Living in three different states and moving 8 different times, she knows what it's like to be a kid growing up military and is so excited to be a part of this team.
